Finally! Snapdragon 835 Device Runs Full Windows 10 And Android Nougat

Previously we have seen that Microsoft and Qualcomm have announced a partnership which will see future mobile phones and computing devices running a full version of Windows 10 OS supported by the next generation of Snapdragon mobile processor.

Well, recently a company which goes by the name of Khiron-Sigma had managed to develop an ultra mobile portable computer (UMPC) which is capable of running Android Nougat and full Windows 10 powered by an ARM chip.

So, the first Snapdragon powered devices running full Windows 10 is expected to launch later this year. The company Khiron-Sigma had posted their project on IndieGoGo.

The company is building two different devices for two different version. KS-PROID for Android and KS-PRO for full Windows 10. Both the devices will feature 8 inch AMOLED screen 8GB RAM, 128Gb internal storage along with microSD support and Snapdragon 835 SoC.

The Android version that is KS-PROID is expected to launch at the end of this year, and it will carry the price tag of $450. The windows version will carry the price tag of $600 and if will be displayed at CES next year.

The company says “We have experience bringing products to market as well as being fully aware of the struggles of getting a product manufactured, to assure the success of this campaign we are leading with our flagship product which will be one unit, one colour and one spec”
