Sony has announced that the new PlayStation 5 games will be unveiled on June 4, at the launch event. This will be the first time, and the Japanese tech giant will show the new games coming to PS5. Thie special event will be live-streamed online on 4th June at 1:00 PM, pacific time.

The special event on June 4 will mainly focus on games. Till now, Sony has revealed a logo for the console, the PS5 gamepad. If you are thinking that you will finally get to see the look of PS5, then you are wrong. As per the reports, the announcement says that Sony’s next PS5 event will show only games.
Sony’s PlayStation social account shared a teaser on Twitter, which shows a video of the first look at the future of PlayStation 5. In a separate blog post, the president and CEO of Sony Jim Ryan says, we will be getting, “first look of the games which you can play once PlayStation 5 is launched on June 4.” The actual console will not be launched. The actual console will be launched later.

Sony’s game announcement came hours after Microsoft revealed the important details about the compatible games on the Xbox series X. The Xbox Series X will allow to play thousands of games from four console generations.
