It kills me that not a single file manager breaks the old, limited Folder Pane & File Pane model. No tree view that includes folders and files. I’m trying to migrate some of my Mac tasks to Windows, and I’m finding that one limitation is incredibly frustrating. In Finder I can expand folders to show their contents, and do that to as many folders down the list as I want. Then I cam multi-select files from all of those expanded folders and drag them to whatever app I’m using. In Windows, I have to go into each folder individually, one at a time, over and over, dragging files to the app one at a time. Why has such a basic feature not made it into any Windows file managers?
Have you tried total commander. Only problem is that you cannot rename filenames with this app
