Google Meet Is Now Free for Everyone as Google Races to Replace Zoom
Google has announced that now all users can access all the features for free. So anyone can use screen sharing, real-time captions and much more.
Google Meet is daily getting a large number of users. If we see numbers then daily more than 3 million people are installing google meet. To create meetings or to organize meetings, the organizer used to have G Suit account but from now as google has made all its features free so anyone can create meetings easily.

In post company has stated,
“We’ve invested years in making Meet a secure and reliable video conferencing solution that’s trusted by schools, governments and enterprises around the world, and in recent months we’ve accelerated the release of top-requested features to make it even more helpful,”
So it is clear that from May anyone can sign up for Google Meet and create meetings. The features made free are simple scheduling and screen sharing, real-time captions, and layouts that adapt to a user’s preference, including an expanded tiled view.
Not all the users will be able to start a meeting using the service immediately. On the page, Google has shown a “Notify Me” page where all the users can share information and will be notified when will they get free access. Moreover, Google also says that the free version will be available on the web also through mobile apps for iOS and Android users.
The meetings time limit will be 60 minutes for the free product from September 30. The G Suite Essentials has more features like dial-in phone numbers, meeting recording, larger meetings. All these features will be free to all the users till 30th September.
The company shared a post which says, Meet is getting roughly 3 million new users every day. Last month, Google announced that it the users will get free access to advanced Hangouts Meet video-conferencing till July 1.
